Services
A professional operating chain, built around premium cigars.
Cigar Logistics provides the core storage, inventory and fulfilment infrastructure behind your European and international distribution. Stock moves through a clear service journey — Receive → Inspect → Store → Manage → Prepare → Release & Ship — with destination-market responsibilities remaining clearly with your appointed importer or distributor.
Service 01
Inbound Receiving & Check-In
Commercial cigar shipments received from factories, producers, distributors and other approved origins into the Swiss bonded operation.
Receiving is the foundation of a reliable stock position. We coordinate expected inbound shipments and receiving windows, then check incoming cartons and cases against shipping documentation and expected quantities before anything enters storage.
- Coordination of expected inbound shipments and receiving windows
- Cartons and cases checked against documentation and expected quantities
- Stock recorded into the inventory system by client and SKU
- Visible shipment discrepancies or handling damage identified at receipt
- Confirmation that stock has been received and entered into inventory
Service 02
Incoming Inspection & Cigar-Specific QC
Practical incoming inspection focused on presentation, shipment condition and physical issues — complementing, not replacing, factory quality assurance.
An agreed inspection scope catches problems before stock is stored or released. Our checks concentrate on what can genuinely be assessed at the warehouse: condition, count and presentation.
- Outer carton and packaging-condition checks
- Box-count and SKU verification
- Visible damage, crushing, moisture and transit-condition observations
- Basic presentation checks where agreed
- Photographic reporting for material discrepancies where appropriate
- Escalation to you before questionable stock is released
Service 03
Climate-Controlled Bonded Storage
Secure, cigar-specific storage under bond in Switzerland, with over 300 m² of climate-controlled space — so inventory can remain centrally held before onward commercial release.
This is a dedicated cigar storage environment, not generic dry-goods warehousing. Cigars are treated as sensitive premium products where condition, presentation, traceability, timing and discretion matter.
Holding stock under bond preserves flexibility: inventory stays centrally positioned, professionally managed and available for allocation as your markets develop, subject to the applicable customs structure.
- Climate-controlled conditions appropriate to premium cigars
- Segregated inventory by client, brand and SKU
- Long-term or transitional stockholding
- Bonded holding that preserves flexibility before final market allocation
- Secure handling and discretion for high-value stock
Service 04
Inventory Management & Client Visibility
Our proprietary web-based system means you always understand what stock is on hand, what has moved and what is being prepared.
Clear inventory visibility is one of our strongest differentiators. Smaller brands and factories can operate with the control of an in-house logistics department — without building one.
- Real-time or near-real-time stock visibility
- Inbound and outbound movement records
- Stock-on-hand reporting by SKU
- Order placement and release requests through the system
- Operational status for orders being prepared
Service 05
Order Preparation, Pick & Pack
Commercial orders prepared accurately and with cigar-specific care, from your own segregated stock.
Every release is picked, checked and packed to the standard your commercial partners expect from a premium product.
- Picking by SKU and quantity from client-owned stock
- Case, master-carton or box-level order preparation
- Mixed-SKU commercial orders
- Protective packing suitable for high-value cigar shipments
- Packing to agreed client instructions
- Final quantity and presentation checks before dispatch
Service 06
Sorting, Re-Packing & Consolidation
Flexible handling for brands, factories and private-label projects that need stock prepared closer to the final market.
- Re-packing commercial stock for onward shipment
- Consolidating multiple SKUs or orders
- Preparing bulk or loose stock for agreed final packaging where operationally appropriate
- Combining stock movements to reduce origin-to-market fragmentation
- Project-based handling for private label, special releases and regional allocations
Service 07
Export & Customs Documentation Support
The Swiss export and shipment documentation on our side of the transaction, coordinated with the appointed receiving party.
We prepare shipments with customs-aware handling and export documentation support — and communicate directly with your appointed importer or distributor on shipment requirements. Destination-country regulatory representation remains with the relevant authorised operator.
- Commercial shipment preparation
- Export and customs-aware documentation support
- Coordination with freight and courier partners
- Communication with the receiving importer or distributor on shipment requirements
- Bond-to-bond and other B2B flows where the relevant structure permits
Service 08
B2B Fulfilment & Outbound Shipping
Stock released from the Swiss hub to the commercial partner you specify — appointed importers and distributors first.
We dispatch to your appointed importers, distributors, duty-free partners and other authorised commercial operators, serving European, Asian and other international B2B destinations. Direct retailer shipments are supported where the destination-country structure permits; in markets requiring a local importer or excise operator, shipments are routed through your appointed partner.

- Shipping to duty-free partners and other authorised commercial operators
- Retailer shipments where the destination-country structure permits
- European, Asian and other international B2B destinations
- Shipment status and documentation provided to the client
Service 09
Importer & Distributor Coordination
We work with whichever importer or distributor you appoint in each market — supporting them operationally and remaining commercially neutral.
Cigar Logistics is complementary to importers and distributors, not a competitor for your brand relationship. We coordinate shipments, documentation and timing with your appointed partner in each destination market, while the importer remains responsible for the destination-market functions that properly belong with it.
Clear Responsibilities
What we provide — and what stays with your appointed importer.
A credible service means being precise about boundaries.
